The life and legacy of Blaze Foley, an unsung singer/songwriter of the Texas Outlaw Music movement that inspired Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson.
'Blaze' was directed by Ethan Hawke and shot at ORWO Studios in Louisiana, just 15 minutes from Baton Rouge airport, but in a serene and tranquil rural setting. Interesting fact, there was a 35mm print of Blaze created by CPC London, which was presented to Ethan Hawke at SXSW film festival in Austin. The print was selected in an official competition at Sundance and Ben Dicket also won Best Actor at the festival.
